THE DARK TOWN
The Dark Town is based on a story that I have already created
LEVEL 2
CHARACTERS.The children(Mark,Arnaud,Hellen),The two tiny
super heroes(Super Green and Super Red) and the Town´s Mayor(Mr Smith).
SYNOPSIS.
The play is set in a town that have turned into colourness in the last year.A group of children(Mark,Arnaud,Anne) from The Rainbow School are worried about how people in town and their favourite places have become grey and sad.
They only share these feelings with a couple of secret friends who they have met from the computer class at the school.However, they have not seen them yet.
They are two tiny super heroes(Super Green and super Red)who are going to help the children to get the town recovered.Hellen,Arnaud and Mark have to follow some instructions to obtain a magic dust which will have a good effect on the people and the enviroment.But they have also to talk with The Mayor( Mr Smith) in order to get the chance to spread the magic dust around the town from The Town Hall.When they go to talk with him they find that Mr Smith is a good person whereas he has a serious appearance.
CHARACTER OBJECTIVES
Mark is a ten years old boy. He is very intelligent and the leader of the group.He wants to save the town and change people´s mind about the enviroment.
Arnaud is a ginger hair boy with freckled complexion.He is also ten years old and he is cheerful and and a littled bit insecure.He just wants to meet the two secret friends
Hellen is the oldest of the group.She is the most practical and responsible.
Super Green and Super Red.They are both positive and thoughtful.They want to help the children
Mr Smith is a tall and serious man with a pale complexion.
SCENE 1:On the park
Mark,Arnaud and Hellen are sitting on the grey grass.They introduce themselves,Hello my name is
and this is my dark town.They describe their town
SCENE 2:In the school.
A group of children are singing a dark song
Mark,Arnaud and Hellen are talking about the date they have with their secret friend at the school later on.They must think of a plan to get into the school at night.Hellen is not willing to do it.Arnaud is so excited about the idea of meeting to Super Green and Super Red.Mark is concentrated and give some ideas to reach the computer classroom.
SCENE 3:In the computer classroom
Super Green and Super Red meet the children”.My name is Super..” They explain the plan to save the town.Mark immediately follow the instructions.Arnaud doesn´t stop of making questions to Super Green and Super Red.Hellen is worried about getting catched by someone in the school at that time.She want to go home and decide what to do the next day.
SCENE 4:At The Town Hall
The chiledren and Super Green and Super Red go at The Town Hall early in the morning.They
wait for Mr Smith at the main door.Finally Mr Smith arrives.He doesn´t seem surprised for the visitors.They introduce themselves and explain him their plan.
Mr Smith help them to spread the magic dust.
SCENE 5:On the park
Mark,Arnaud and Hellen are sitting on the grass.They are very happy,everything is full of colour.
At the end of the park Super Green and Super Red are walking while they are waving their hands and saying good bye to their new friends.
